What to
Expect at Oasis
Thai Massage &
Spa
On your first
visit to Oasis
Thai Massage &
Spa you will be
asked to provide
information such
as name,
address, general
health and any
specific
ailments you may
have.
Please
allow a few
minutes prior to
your first
scheduled
appointment to
complete this
form and waiver.
There is ample
parking at Oasis
Thai massage &
Spa. Parking
spots are
generally
available in
front of our
location
and
also just around
the corner at both Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach locations.
It is best you
arrive a couple
of minutes
before your
scheduled
appointment.
Please have a
seat, help
yourself to a
cup of tea and
someone will
greet you soon.
At your
appointment
time, you will
be taken to your
private room.
This is an
opportune time
to discuss any
special concerns
or make any
requests not yet
communicated to
the therapist.
Please note, it
is never
appropriate to
request any
sensual or other
equally
inappropriate
activity.
For body
treatments, once
in the room,
disrobe to the
level of your
comfort (hooks
are provided to
hang your
clothes), set
the decorative
Thai fabrics and
flowers to the
side, lay on the
table
face-down-feet-to-the-door
and cover
yourself with
the towel
set-out for your
benefit. Relax,
settle in to the
music and
prepare your
mind for the
treatment. Soon
you’ll hear a
gentle knock on
the door to make
certain you are
ready for your
massage. Just
say “come-in”
and your
experience
continues on its
way.
Your therapist
will confirm
with you the
style and length
of time
scheduled.
Depending on the
style treatment
you request, you
can anticipate
your therapist
will leave the
room for a brief
period on a
couple of
occasions to
retrieve hot
towels.
At the
conclusion of
your treatment,
the therapist
will ask if
you’d prefer
water or tea.
Liquids are
important after
a massage as
they assist in
removing the
toxins from your
body. Relax for
a moment, get
dressed and your
therapist will
meet you in the
reception area
with your
beverage.
Providing
feedback is
important to
ensure the
therapist
exceeds your
expectations
(“one size” does
not”fit-all”).
Therapists
always
appreciate
gratuities.
